Annual Performance Report (APR)
This reported is submitted annually, typically on February 1st, to the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education (OSEP). The report covers the most recent completed fiscal year. For example, on February 1st, 2025, SpEd submitted its APR which covered FFY2023 (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024).
OSEP returns feedback via OSEP responses to the APR, and a separate Determination Letter. These identify areas thate SpEd has to address and improve for the following year.

Schools provide reports to parents on the progress of their children in regards to their IEP.
